Pelvic Floor

Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on the muscles that make up the pelvic floor. Our therapists have completed extensive training to treat all pelvic floor conditions, using a variety of techniques to ensure each patient’s needs are addressed.

Pelvic Floor Treatment

Pelvic dysfunction—the pelvis is unique in humans—a mechanical transfer hub between the lower and upper body – is literally at the core of human movement. The pelvis is susceptible to injury from wear and tear, trauma, and giving birth. Our therapists are more than “pelvic floor” therapists. We treat the whole body. Integrating parts into a more functional whole.

Problems relating to pelvic dysfunction include:

  • Voiding/elimination dysfunction (incontinence, constipation, IBS)
  • Pelvic pain (interstitial cystitis, tension myalgia, proctalgia fugax, rectal pain)
  • Genitourinary Symptoms of Menopause (GSM), Peri and Post Partum, Prolapse, Vulvodynia, Vaginismus
  • Erectile Dysfunction (ED), Prostate issues
